Alicia had been in the industry for far too long that she was so used what went on. She could immediately tell a person’s intention as soon as they walked in the pawnshop. Now the store that she worked out, attracted people from all different walks of life. She usually summed up the people into two different categories. One, the people who were quite poor and really needed the money. While the others were very similar to hyenas that would grab any opportunity they could to steal a bargain. However, on the specific day that the police officer was in the store, it was something more surprising than usual.

Alicia was very good at dealing with the customers that frequently visited the shop. With her expertise, she found that many of the customers would do whatever they could for a good deal. Some would bargain for a rare antique while others would pay without asking any questions. Working in a small town, Alicia said it was really easy to remember her customers’ faces. Regardless, on this day a new customer entered the store so she gazed at him for a lot more time than she usually would.
