Katie seemed to be getting everything she wanted at the same time. After she was able to complete Grayson and Hannah’s adoptions, she received a message on Instagram asking if she wanted to be featured in an article about her in Good Housekeeping magazine. She, of course, said yes! She was overjoyed at the prospect of being able to tell her story in any way she could. “I never thought we would be in @goodhousekeeping magazine, but life throws you amazing curves. Couldn’t be more grateful to see my children’s story impacting so many people across the world and we hope it’s helping many more children like them find loving forever homes!! Katie’s natural inclination toward motherhood is undeniable. She was enamored with her children. She was filled with pride and gratitude at every turn. She wanted to share her story with the world because she’d come so far in the last few years. She couldn’t help but rejoice in every small victory. “I am SO proud of this girl for going by herself to a Sunday school class (versus with her bro)! She went in without hesitation and had a blast.”
