He pulled a pocketknife out, to her complete disbelief. This only left her feeling more concerned, but when he broke it apart and passed the remains to her, her eyes widened. In a surprise, she could only gape at him. Why would he do such a thing on earth? He knew how much this piece of jewelry she loved and admired!
