On that particular Friday, Natalee returned home from Aurora Children’s Academy and Childcare Center, wearing a frown on her face. Leeza Parson asked her daughter why she was sad, and Natalee responded that she was hungry. Leeza took a quick look at her daughter’s untouched packed lunch and noticed the note placed on top of the Oreo cookies that were also left uneaten. Leeza Parson became furious when she read the letter.

Leeza Parson was aware that she had to share the note that was written by one of the staff at the Aurora Children’s Academy and Childcare Center so that she could call out the school for their behavior. The note mentioned, “Dear Parents, it is vital that all students have a nutritious lunch. This is a public-school setting, and all children are required to have a fruit, a vegetable, and a healthy snack from home, along with milk. If they have potatoes, the child will also need bread to go along with it.”
