If we would imagine that a child was going to eat her lunch at her school and suddenly, a teacher or someone from her school took the food and threw it on the trash, we might think it was disturbing if it would happen to our children. We all knew that it would be wrong. However, it was not exactly what happened on that particular day. The lunch of the little girl was not taken from her, and she was not deliberately starved until the end of school. The situation got serious until the real truth had been discovered.

She Could Have Chosen A Different Food
Patti Moon, the Aurora Public School Chief Communications Officer, stated that the school considered and notified the parents that they should give healthy food for their children, and the action they had done was not to be “punitive.” They had given Natalee a few choices about the current issue. She could have freely chosen different food, so she would not go back to their house starving.
