He Was Angry
The questionable man told Alicia that he did not have any other way to pay for the item, he clearly stated that he had no cash or another credit card. So she simply asked if he would return the pair of shoes back to where he found them. This is exactly what he did, but Alicia could very clearly see that he was furious by the way he walked out of the store. She did kind of feel sorry for him but then she reminded herself that her job was not for charity. She really thought it was the last time she would see him, little did she know she was so wrong.
