Someone Is Knocking
Savannah Jones and the four-year-old Zoyee were singing together to their favorite Frozen songs when they heard a knock on the door at around 3:30 in the afternoon. Savannah turned off the television and approached the hallway to check who was knocking. Savannah knew that her older sister would not be back for days, so she was shocked to hear someone knocking on the door. Savannah thought that maybe there was an unexpected delivery. However, when the girl peeked through the peephole, she instantly knew that there was something wrong.

There was a man who waited in front of the door, and because he was wearing a hat, Savannah could not see his features very well. And yet, the girl knew that there was something wrong with the situation. Even though Savannah did not recognize him, he did not seem to be a salesman, and most unlikely to be an official. Savannah could not guess what the man would want from them, so she decided to quietly walk away from the door, praying that if she ignored the man, he would simply go away. But she had been wrong.
